KENYA : Musician and businesswoman Akothee has advised Men and Women to steer clear from Infidelity, stating the person one cheats on his/her partner with turns out to be their Karma in the long-run.
Akothee shared these sentiments, while chipping in on the online scuffle between Simon Kabu and Sara Kabu.
The strained relationship of the couple hit the headlines after a CCTV footage surfaced online where Sarah Kabu is alleged to be assaulting a woman. Sarah came out to refute the claims, saying that she did not assault anyone.
The husband, on the other hand, came out and confirmed that her wife assaulted the nanny as shown in the CCTV footage.
Their online exchange did not end there as a few hours later, Sarah made a post asking for an update on her complaints made at the Director of Criminal Investigations (DCI) on gender-based violence.
The couple is known for their tours and travel company Bonfire Adventures. Simon has been serving as the Chief Executive Officer while Sarah has been serving as the Managing Director.
Akothee, asked the two to keep their matters away from social media for the sake of those affected by their fallout.
“I would like to take this opportunity to urge the couple to step away from social media and try to appear as the innocent ones,” stated Akothee.
She told the two to refrain from posting videos to vindicate themselves as the same videos and posts would be used by the people online to bring them down.
According to Akothee, the couple should mind the well-being of those affected by their separation such as their children and their family members. She also warned them about their posts, which she said would haunt them later.
“Whatever is happening now is not good for either of you, your family members, or especially your children. All the evidence you are sharing now will one day come back to bite you,” warned the businesswoman.
Akothee, while sharing her experience, went head-on with Simon Kabu, asking him to keep the matter off social media by virtue of being a man, a father, and an entrepreneur.
“I insist: Kabu, shut up. You are a man, a father, and an entrepreneur. Toka kwa kamera kwanza (keep off the camera). This matter is too sensitive to be public right now. I have been in these shoes before, where my ex who broke our union convinced everyone I was the problem deep down he knew the truth,” stated Akothee.
