KENYA : What was supposed to be a weekend of partying for two National Police Service Officers turned fatal after a police officer attached to Safaricom CEO Peter Ndegwa dramatically shot dead his colleague last night.
According to Sources, the two were partying at a city night club on Saturday, February 22, and were quite Drunk, before a heated argument ensued.
The VIP Protection Unit Officer, PC Ezekiel Tarus of Central Police Station in Nairobi, shot dead a GSU officer, Pc Raphael Wambua while leaving the club at the wee hours.
A source that spoke to JULISHA.CO.KE on Condition of anonymity revealed that the late Raphael is attached to the Central Bank of Kenya.
The National Police Service was yet to issue a report in regard to the incidence at the time of Publication and efforts to contact them for a comment proved futile.

The rise of officer's using their weapons to harm or Kill others has led to concern among the East African Country's Citizenry over the years.
In a 2010 incident, a police officer in Siakago town, Embu County, shot 10 people dead including two of his colleagues.
A police spokesman said at the time the officer tried to shoot himself but had run out of ammunition, forcing him to surrender to police.
In another incident, A Kenyan police officer shot dead at least five people in an overnight rampage through the capital, Nairobi, before he shot and killed himself, in December 2021.
The officer first killed his wife in their home, shooting her in the neck, before setting off at 3am with his service-issued AK-47 rifle and starting to shoot at “innocent members of the public frenziedly”, the police Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) said.
Just last year, A Magistrate, Ms Kivuti was shot by a policeman at a court in the capital, after she cancelled his wife's bail due to the woman's absconding.
The policeman, identified as Samson Kipchirchir Kipruto, was himself shot dead by other officers following the attack. Three of these officers were hurt in the attack.
"It is with a heavy heart that I inform the nation that Hon. Monica Kivuti, Principal Magistrate, Makadara Law Courts has lost the fight against the extensive injuries sustained during an open gun attack in Court," said Justice Koome in a statement.
The national police service said in a statement that Kipruto, who was in charge of a police station in Londiani in western Kenya, had been in the court for "unknown reasons" during a hearing in the case of his wife. She was accused of receiving money "under false pretences".
