Senator Ledama Ole Kina has hailed President William Ruto and Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga for agreeing to work together, following the formation of the broad-based government, vowing to rally the Maasai community behind the duo.

Ole Kina, stated he sees a great opportunity for the Maasai community to unite behind the Ruto-Raila alliance as a pathway to securing better access to national resources.
He also assured that the Maasai community would stand firmly with the President, adding that no Maasai would go against the government.nals hope for inclusive development and national cohesion.
"President William Ruto means good for this country. That is what I have observed. The Maasai have cumulative 1.4M votes and we shall all vote for Ruto-Raila, I’ll personally ensure that." he said.

Further, the senator dismissed Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka’s claims of political strength based on uniting 1.4 million Kamba votes, asserting that the Maasai vote would effectively counterbalance it.
“Mnaona vile Kalonzo anakimbia kimbia huko anasema Wakamba wake 1.4 million, na sisi Wamaasai tutaenda mpaka Marsabit, Kajiado na tutakuwa na hiyo 1.4 million na tutasupport William Ruto na Raila Amollo Odinga,” he said.
Senator Ledama, emphasized the need for unity and issue-based leadership over ethnic divisions. He further called on the state to support the community by improving access to essential services such as roads and water, noting that these remain significant challenges for residents in Narok.
