EPL FOOTBALL : Manchester United has secured three crucial Points in their English Premier League Clash at the Old Trafford thanks to an Amad Dialo Masterclass.
The first professional hat-trick of Amad's career has saved Manchester United from an embarrassing defeat against Premier League bottom club Southampton.
Dialo, scored all three of his goals in the last 10 minutes to save Ruben Amorim whose team had been well dominated in the first hour of the match match and went behind after a first-half Manuel Ugarte own goal.
It was a deserved a lead for Southampton who scored their first goal from a corner this season, Tyler Dibling's flick hitting Ugarte's back and beating Andre Onana.
The United goalkeeper probably should have kept it out, but he had already kept Ruben Amorim's men in the game with a string of excellent first-half saves.
United were trailing 1-0 via Manuel Ugarte's first half own-goal with as little as nine minutes of normal time left, but Amad dragged them level, giving them belief they could then go on and the flip the game on its head.
He completed the turnaround eight minutes later, striking with 90 minutes on the clock, when he connected with Christian Eriksen's outstanding pass to fire a volley past Saints goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale.
Amad, Nailed Southampton's last nail on the coffin, scoring in stoppage time, capitalising on a defensive blunder to tap home his and United's third goal.
The win has lifted United up to 12th in the standings.
However, the overall manner of United's performance is likely to have concerned Ruben Amorim, who would have no doubt been preparing to answer some difficult questions post-match.
