Arsenal 5 - 1 Manchester City : Gunners Gun Down The Cityzens at Emirates Stadium

Arsenal hosted Manchester City at the Emirates Stadium, with the home side desperate for a win to stay in touch with league leaders Liverpool and the away side keen for a victory to maintain the revival of their difficult season.

The Gunners, have not disappointed, humbling Pep Guardiola's Men with a humiliating 5 - 1 Thrashing.

Arsenal captain Odegaard’s second-minute goal kept the hosts in the lead against Man City at half-time at Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners could have had more goals if it wasn’t for Martinelli’s disallowed strike or Havertz’s huge miss.

Raya was one of the best players so far, saving a series of attempts from City, who had six shots – two more than Arsenal – in the first half.

Back into the Second half, Haaland scored a stunning header in the 55th Minute to bring up his 250th goal of his club career.

City pulled off a slick team move as Savinho played a cross from the right side of the box to the far post, where Haaland jumped high to head it in.

Arsenal immediately responded, regaining their lead.

Partey scored in his 150th appearance as Foden’s misplaced pass fell to the Ghanian and his long-range effort from outside the box took a deflection off Stones before flying into the net.

The goal came only one minute and 45 seconds after Haaland’s equaliser.

Lewis-Skelly extended the lead minutes later, scoring his first goal for Arsenal.

The teenager received the ball from Rice on the edge of the box, before unleashing a right-footed curling shot. Ortega got his hand to it but couldn't keep it out, with the ball ending in the right corner.

Lewis-Skelly cheekily celebrated by doing Haaland’s seated meditation pose.

De Bruyne and McAtee came on for Foden and Marmoush in the 70th Minute, but that was not enough to rescue Pep's Men from the humiliation at Emirates stadium

Havertz got on the scoresheet as Arsenal’s party at Emirates Stadium continued in the 76th Minute.

The German, who missed a huge chance in the first half, made no mistake this time, finding the bottom left corner with ease.

Arsenal pulled off a terrific break with Martinelli playing a huge role as he set up Havertz, who made a stunning overlapping run in the box before finishing off in style with a left-footed shot.

Arsenal got their fifth goal of the game in extra time, thanks to Nwaneri.

The substitute has unleashed an incredible left-footed shot from the edge of the box which ended up in the bottom left corner. Ortega didn’t even move.

Arsenal remain second in the league standings with 50 points after 24 matches, sitting six points behind leaders Liverpool, who have a game in hand.

Reigning champions City will remain fourth on 41 points – a whopping 15 points off the top.
