Raila : Gachagua set traps for Baba at State House, Where is he?

KENYA : Azimio Coalition and Opposition Chief, Hon. Raila Odinga has clapped back at Impeached Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.

Speaking during the Thanksgiving ceremony of Godfrey Osotsi in Vihiga County, Raila mocked the Impeached deputy President's earlier sentiments on Setting Trap's in StateHouse to prevent a Broad-Based Government between him and President William Ruto's administration.

Gachagua, had been a Vocal Opponent of the Kenya Kwanza administration entering into an agreement to form an inclusive administration with the Azimio coalition Camp.

During Previous Media Interviews as Deputy President, Rigathi stated he had set traps at the house on the hill, to make it impossible for the Opposition chief to get a slice of the bread.

" Someone said he set traps to prevent Baba from accessing State House and Forming a Broad-Based Government, he said baba will not work with President William Ruto, Where is he Now?" Raila Odinga Quipped.

Raila Odinga, laughed off the Predicaments that have befallen Rigathi Gachagua who has since been Impeached and Former Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki taken his place.

Additionally, Raila Odinga has called on more youths to join the Orange Democratic Movement, ODM, to increase the Party's chances at presidency in the 2027 General Election's.

The Azimio Coalition, despite the Impeached Deputy President's 'traps' entered into a broad-based government with the ruling coalition, a move that saw opposition Members join the Kenya Kwanza administration as Cabinet Secretaries.

Speaking during the same event, Homa Bay Governor Gladys Wanga stated Gachagua was receiving a dose of his own medicine, for the way he treated Raila Odinga during Demos.

" I have seen Gachagua crying in town, he should understand being in the Opposition is not easy. When he sent officers to shoot at Raila's car during Protests, he used to chest thump calling himself the son of Maumau (Freedom Fighter) " She said.

The Homa Bay Governor, advised the Impeached Deputy President to accept his fate and man up like the Son of MauMau he claimed to be.

Prof. Kithure Kindiki was on Friday, November 1, 2024, Sworn-in as Kenya's 3rd Deputy President at the Kenyatta International Conference Centre (KICC), Nairobi.

The Former Interior CS, Prof. Kithure Kindiki's nomination as the Deputy President of the East African Country, followed Rigathi Gachagua's impeachment last month.

Rigathi, was impeached by the Country's National Assembly and Senate after a Legislator, Mwengi Mutuse, filed impeachment Proceedings against Gachagua in Parliament.

The Motion, Filed by Kibwezi West Mp Mwenge Mutuse, had received the support of 291 MPs, who had appended their Signature's for it's presentation.

Gachagua's impeachment motion, was introduced on Tuesday 1st October 2024 at the National Assembly, citing 11 grounds for the DP's removal, including gross violation of the Constitution, misconduct, and violations of the Anti-Corruption and Economic Crimes Act, as well as the Leadership and Integrity Act.

With a Majority of Members of Parliament Supporting his ouster, Gachagua moved to the Senate, hoping to overturn his impeachment.
