Mt Kenya Does Not Owe Ruto - Gachagua

KENYA : Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has dismissed sentiments shared by leaders affiliated to the Kenya-Kwanza administration, who have insinuated that the Mt Kenya region 'owes' President William Ruto.

Gachagua, Says that the Mt Kenya Region electorate is not Politically indebted to President Ruto in any way and can decide 'independently' on which leadership path to take going forward.

Speaking on December 18, 2024, Gachagua claimed that the Region had Overwhelmingly Supported Ruto's 2022 Presidential Bid, hence 'repaying' the support his side had accorded Retired President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Additionally, the Former Deputy President, alleged that the GEMA block, which composes of Kikuyu, Embu, Meru and Akamba Communities, have unanimously agreed to Support Wiper Party Leader, Kalonzo Musyoka's Presidential Bid come 2027.

Gachagua, revealed that he is working closely with the Wiper Party Chief, in efforts to 'liberate the Mt Kenya Region and Country at large, from the grip of Ruto's leadership in the near future.

The Fall-out between President William Ruto and Rigathi Gachagua, stems from the impeachment of the Former as Kenya's Deputy President a few months ago.

The Impeachment, has seen President Ruto's appeal to the Mt Kenya Electorate turn to disdain, fuelled by Accusations of Betrayal by the Head of State.

Leaders affiliated to the President from the Mt Kenya Region have been unsuccessfull in attempts to defend Ruto since the Impeachment, encountering agitated crowds at every attempt.

President Ruto himself has been tirelessly attempting to cool the political heat in the region, getting 'burned' at each attempt.

The Former Deputy President's allies on the other hand have been making in-roads into the Mt Kenya Region village's at each dusk to dawn, selling wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka.

Funerals, Church Services, Weddings and each gathering in the vast vote-rich Mt Kenya Block, is now being graced by the Presence of a Gachagua-Ally appealing to the Common Mwananchi to Support Ruto's Ouster From Office come 2027.
